| I have been meaning to send some updated pictures and drop you a line to give you an update on Copper and Todd. They are about 2 1/2 now and they are awesome dogs. They are so beautiful and while they have very different personalities - they both have awesome temperaments. People are impressed by them no matter where we are. The vet says they have perfect constitution and could be show dogs. They have been super healthy too. They are so smart and athletic. Even though I know they would be great hunting dogs if we hunted, for us they are have been awesome companions. They love to play and stay active, but they are content just to hang out with us too. We just had our first baby and they have been amazing with her. They are gentle and calm and they check on her all the time, it's so sweet. Todd is a little lighter red than Copper. He has consistently been 10 lbs heavier than Copper, but he is solid muscle. He weighs 90 lbs. Copper is a little darker, taller and thinner, but also very strong. He weighs about 80 lbs. I am amazed at their agility and speed. Todd has an awesome nose. He has gone and found things that were lost in the woods ages ago and brings them back to us - it's too funny. His favorite game is find the toy. He has to stay in one room then he sniffs out the toy somewhere in the house. If people were looking for labs, I would definitely recommend you because these guys are just so well rounded for whatever the purpose. Sarah Lockhart-Palladino |
